This hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of a bohemian neighborhood, surrounded by superb restaurants and artistic charm. The beautiful old colonial-style house is truly unique and offers spacious rooms with stunning views of Rio. Despite being a budget-friendly option, the hotel doesn't compromise on attention to detail, with ornate decor and high ceilings that transport you back in time. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service and a delicious breakfast that includes fresh fruit, cheese, and sliced meat.
All was perfect, couldn't ask for more.

I recently had a delightful stay at a charming hotel nestled in a fantastic area with a beautiful view. The hotel is like a little palace, perfectly located near the main square, allowing for easy access to the center of Rio. The staff were incredibly attentive and their attention to detail was evident in every aspect of my stay. The rooms, although without TV or air conditioning, provided great comfort and boasted stunning views of Rio. And I must mention the breakfast, which included a wonderful selection of fresh fruit, cheese, sliced meat, and refreshing juice. It was the perfect way to start each day.
All was splendid, nothing to improve.

Great hill view and easy access to public transportation. The hotel staff was also very friendly. We enjoyed the view of the hill from our room, and the hotel was located near a bus stop, making it easy to get around. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome.
The room was quite small and the bathroom was not in the best condition. The room we stayed in was too cramped for a romantic escape. The bathroom was dated and not properly maintained, which took away from the overall experience.

Beautiful and tranquil retreat, with stunning views and a great breakfast selection. the rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated, with a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. the staff are friendly and helpful, offering great advice on places to visit in the nearby area. the location is perfect for a romantic escape or just a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The internet connection could be improved and be more consistent throughout the premises. the decor in some of the rooms is beginning to show signs of wear and tear and could do with some minor refurbishments.
